Strength to Serve 2025

  • Siskiyou -Klamath National Park Oregon United States (map)

This short film that distills the essence of the Strength to Serve journey; the transformation that occurs when you step into nature, into challenge, into the unknown.

Imagine a model where your journey is not just another cog in the machine; it is the life force that sustains and propels your mission, and imbues you and others with the strength to serve.

Strength to Serve is a 2-month leadership development program that will support you to in your journey of service to self, others and in our world with empathy, courage, and renewed sustenance.

You will be supported in this journey by resource rich group sessions, guest teachers, 1:1 coaching, and a small mature group of co travelers dedicated to service.

Your journey will culminate in a 9-day backpacking expedition in the Siskiyou Wilderness in Southern Oregon. This adventure is specifically designed for this program and guided by Open Circle founders. It is a game changer to get beyond stuck patterns and recognize what is at the heart of your next phase.

We include specific physical training program for the trip so it is accessible to all, whatever your experience level. We supply all the gear and meals.

We have found no more efficient tool for change than the simplicity of traveling deep into wilderness and combining that with listening circles around the fire, individual coaching on the trail  and a 2 day solo where all the noise inevitably falls away.

By the program's conclusion, you will emerge with a clear sense of purpose and empowered to serve others and integrate enduring principles into your everyday life.

This program enables you to:

  • Embrace a purpose driven life

  • Cultivate a crystal clear vision for driving positive change within your organizations and communities.

  • Create alignment between purpose and your work in the world

  • Foster endurance and resilience in following your purpose in the world

  • Lean into adaptive skills to navigate uncertainty and rapid change.

  • Facilitate cross-cultural collaboration to nurture an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives contribute.
